Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains, in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021), how we process personal data on this website and in the course of our business relationships. Last updated: September 2026.

1. Controller

Soluvine GmbH, Mariahilferstrasse 1, 8020 Graz, Austria
Email: support[a]soluvine.com

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestrasse 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in data centres in the EU (data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR). Each visit logs your IP address (anonymised only), date and time, the page requested, the referrer, the amount of data transferred and your browser and operating system, so that we can provide the website securely and without errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 7 days. All content is transmitted with TLS encryption.

3. Cookies and consent management

Without your consent, only strictly necessary information is stored on your device (Section 165(3) TKG 2021): your selected language (wp-wpml_current_language, 1 day) and your cookie consent (ccm_consent, 12 months). All other services are only activated after you consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the Cookie Settings or the icon at the edge of the screen.

Consent is obtained and documented with CCM19 by Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Auguststrasse 4, 53229 Bonn, Germany (Art. 6(1)(c) in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR). This processes your consent data (pseudonymous consent ID, time, choice, banner version) as well as your browser identifier, referrer and the page visited; IP addresses are only stored in anonymised form, and in full in CCM19's log files for no more than 24 hours. Processing takes place in Germany.

4. Contacting us and protection against abuse

If you contact us via the contact form (mandatory: name, email address, company, product interest; optional: phone number, position, message), by email or by phone, we process your details to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f)). Emails are processed with Microsoft 365 by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin, Ireland, and stored in the EU. We delete the data once your enquiry has been fully handled, unless a business relationship results from it or statutory retention obligations apply.

To protect against spam and automated access, we use Cloudflare Turnstile by Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, USA, on all pages. Turnstile uses your IP address and browser and device information to check that a human is using the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; accessing device information is strictly necessary for secure operation, Section 165(3) TKG 2021).

5. Interactive product demos (Supademo)

Product demos are provided by Supademo, Inc., 651 N Broad St, Suite 201, Middletown, DE 19709, USA, via explore.soluvine.com. They are only loaded when you click "Load demo" in the placeholder or consent in the cookie settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 165(3) TKG 2021); consent by click applies only to that page view. This processes your IP address and browser and device information, and stores an identifier on your device (ph_phc_…_posthog, up to 12 months). Usage statistics for the demos are only collected if you consent via the cookie settings. Supademo uses sub-processors in the USA (including PostHog, Sentry and Cloudflare). If you open a demo via a direct link, it is displayed immediately (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Web analytics and lead generation (consent only)

Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, analyses website usage statistically (pages viewed, time spent, referrer, device and browser information, approximate location). Google does not store IP addresses; Google Signals is disabled. Cookies: _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years); data is deleted from Google Analytics after 2 months. The Google tag is only loaded after you consent.

Leadinfo by Leadinfo B.V., Rivium Quadrant 141, 2909 LC Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands, uses IP addresses to recognise which companies visit the website and provides publicly available company information and their visiting behaviour; the email domain from forms is also evaluated. _li_id (up to 2 years) and _li_ses (30 minutes) are stored in local storage. Processing takes place in the EU; you can also object at leadinfo.com/en/opt-out.

The legal basis in each case is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 165(3) TKG 2021).

7. LinkedIn company page

We and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company are joint controllers for the statistics of our LinkedIn company page ("Page Insights") (Art. 26 GDPR, Page Insights Joint Controller Addendum); LinkedIn has primary responsibility for handling data subject requests. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (communication with prospects and customers).

8. Customers, prospects and business partners

To initiate and perform contracts, provide support and invoice, we process contact, contract and billing data of contact persons (Art. 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR) and retain it after the business relationship ends until statutory retention periods expire (generally 7 years under Section 132 BAO and Section 212 UGB).

Enquiries via Microsoft Marketplace or AppSource (e.g. trials) are passed on to us by Microsoft via Microsoft Partner Center with an email notification; we use the data to handle your request.

The product documentation at docs.soluvine.com is available to customers via a personal access link and is operated with GitBook by GitBook Inc., Covina, CA, USA. This processes your IP address, browser information and pages viewed, and sets a strictly necessary access cookie (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

9. Recipients, third countries and retention

The service providers named above process data as part of the services described, mostly as processors. Beyond that, tax advisors, authorities and courts only receive data where required by law. Transfers to Google, Microsoft and Cloudflare in the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers to Supademo and GitBook are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Unless stated otherwise, we delete data once the purpose no longer applies or consent is withdrawn, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15–20 GDPR), and to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Please send requests to support[a]soluvine.com.

Right to object: You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

You are not legally or contractually obliged to provide data; however, we cannot handle an enquiry without the mandatory information. We do not use automated decision-making.
